Patrick is a bright and determined Grade 9 student at Muruai Primary School in Laikipia, Kenya. He lives with his mother and grandfather. His mother lives with epilepsy and works in farming to support the family, often facing financial and health-related challenges.

Despite these difficulties, Patrick continues to excel academically. He is currently ranked 2nd out of 44 students in his class, reflecting his consistency, discipline, and commitment to his studies. He has previously been sent home due to school fee arrears, but this has not stopped him from staying focused on his education and future goals.

Patrick’s favorite subject is Integrated Mathematics, where he shows strong problem-solving skills and a natural ability to understand complex concepts. He has a clear dream of becoming a doctor, inspired by his desire to help people like his mother, who struggle to access proper medical care due to financial limitations.

Beyond academics, Patrick is a natural leader. He has served as a class representative from Grade 1 through Grade 9, consistently trusted by his peers for his responsibility and hard work. He also enjoys football, which helps him stay active and build teamwork skills.

Patrick has a strong interest in practical science and technology, especially wiring and electronics. He has even built devices at home, including a solar panel and a radio, showcasing his creativity, innovation, and hands-on skills.

Patrick is a focused and innovative young student with great potential. With sponsorship, he can remain in school without interruption, fully develop his academic and technical talents, and pursue his dream of becoming a doctor who serves and uplifts his community. About this Sponsorship

Sponsoring a secondary student is $1,020 a year, or $85 per month. Co-sponsoring a secondary student is $600 a year, or $50 per month. This amount covers the students’ tuition fees, and buys school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other personal effects required to live at boarding school.
