Hiel is a bright Grade 8 student. He is the top student in a class of 36, consistently demonstrating focus, intelligence, and a strong work ethic. Despite facing financial challenges at home, Hiel continues to excel and remain highly motivated in his studies.

His favorite subject is Mathematics, where he shows excellent understanding and problem-solving skills. Hiel also has a deep interest in extracurricular activities that challenge both his mind and body. He enjoys football, chess, and reading novels, which help him build teamwork, strategic thinking, and imagination.

At school, Hiel is the Cabinet Secretary for Sports, a role he earned through his discipline and responsibility. He helps organize sports activities and encourages other students to join, showing his leadership and dedication to the school community.

Hiel actively participates in several clubs, including swimming, taekwondo, karate, and chess, reflecting his passion for both mental and physical development. His dream is to become a doctor, driven by a desire to help save lives and make a meaningful impact in society.

He lives with his mother, who works as a casual laborer at a clinic, and the family often struggles to meet basic educational expenses. Hiel is constantly sent home due to school fee arrears.

About this Sponsorship

Sponsoring a secondary student is $1,020 a year, or $85 per month. Co-sponsoring a secondary student is $600 a year, or $50 per month. This amount covers the students’ tuition fees, and buys school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other personal effects required to live at boarding school.
