Become a Sponsor

Sponsoring a student is the most personal and impactful way to get involved. We feel that our students not only need financial support but also need to know that they’re loved and supported. Through a sponsorship, you not only provide the life-changing gift of education, but you also have the opportunity to build a personal relationship with the student that can only be described with one word, family.

Make an impact in a child’s life with the gift of education.

the sponsorship process

All of our students looking for sponsorship has gone through a rigorous selection process. This process includes interviews with our team in Kenya and the Sponsorship Committee here in the US. We also do home visits to validate all of the information. The students that make it through this process are truly deserving and have been deemed to be the most deserving of sponsorship. The Sponsor Experience

  • Cassie and Elijah

“When we signed up to sponsor our students, we hoped it would help improve their lives. What we didn’t expect was how it would change ours.

Our students have become our teachers about life, gratitude, optimism, and finding joy in each moment. Supporting an education is a direct investment into these students and their future. Through a sponsorship with Moja Tu, you have the opportunity to create a meaningful relationship with a student that will change not only their life, but yours as well.”

student success stories

I graduated in November with a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology with the plan to become a network administrator and consultant. I am so happy to finally graduate with my degree, which I didn’t think possible a few years ago. I initially earned a diploma (2-year program), and then my sponsors graciously supported me in achieving my bachelor’s degree. For this, I am forever grateful
