Kelly is an ambitious and hardworking young man from Naivasha who has recently joined Senior High School at Njoro Boys High School. He lives with his twin brother, elder sister, and both parents.

His father, who previously worked as a PTA (Parent Teacher Association) teacher, was forced to stop working due to illness. He is currently battling diabetes and high blood pressure and is unable to provide for the family. Kelly’s mother is the sole breadwinner, but she also suffers from severe asthma, which often limits her ability to take on the casual jobs the family depends on.

Despite these challenges at home, Kelly remains focused, determined, and hopeful about his future.

He aspires to become a software engineer. During his time in junior high school, he developed a strong interest in technology, especially through hands-on experience in the computer lab at his school, supported by Moja Tu’s partnership with Enashipai Resort & Spa. This exposure strengthened his passion for ICT and problem-solving.

Kelly is also creatively talented in drawing and enjoys playing soccer, making him a well-rounded and active student with diverse interests.

With consistent support, Kelly can continue his education and fully develop his potential in technology.

About this Sponsorship

Sponsoring a secondary student is $1,020 a year, or $85 per month. Co-sponsoring a secondary student is $600 a year, or $50 per month. This amount covers the students’ tuition fees, and buys school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other personal effects required to live at boarding school.
