Jacinta is the youngest of three siblings, residing with her single mother in Laikipia. Despite financial challenges, Jacinta has displayed remarkable resilience in her academic journey. Her passion for Mathematics shines through in her enthusiastic pursuit of the subject, where she excels.

Dreaming of becoming a mathematics teacher, Jacinta views education as a transformative tool to impact lives positively. Her ambition is fueled by a deep-seated desire to contribute meaningfully to her community and inspire fellow students to embrace the beauty of mathematics.

Recently starting junior high school, Jacinta has faced barriers due to financial constraints, often being sent home from school. However, her determination remains unwavering. She also showcased her love for technology by serving as a programmer during our first-ever robotics tournament at Muruai Primary School in May.

About this Sponsorship

Sponsoring a secondary student is $1,020 a year, or $85 per month. Co-sponsoring a secondary student is $600 a year, or $50 per month. This amount covers the students’ tuition fees, and buys school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other personal effects required to live at boarding school.
