Sponsor a Student

All of our students are extraordinary and have overcome a lot in their education journey. While we’d like to tell all of their stories, let’s start with some stories selected especially for you.

Ann

High school

Meet Ann, a determined and bright student from Nakuru. She is the fourth child in a family of six. She lives with her single mother, a casual laborer who struggles to provide for the family. Ann recently began junior high school and is committed to changing her life and her family’s future.

Understanding education’s crucial role in achieving her dreams, Ann aspires to become a nurse. Her ambition is driven by a desire to help uplift her family and community. Unfortunately, the financial challenges faced by her family are daunting, and Ann is worried that without support, she might face the same fate as her elder siblings, who had to drop out of school due to lack of fees.

Sponsoring Ann will give her the support she needs to continue her education and pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Your contribution will help her overcome financial obstacles and break the cycle of educational setbacks in her family. Join us in empowering Ann. Sponsor her today.

About this Sponsorship

Sponsoring a secondary student is $1,020 a year, or $85 per month. Co-sponsoring a secondary student is $600 a year, or $50 per month. This amount covers the students’ tuition fees, and buys school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other personal effects required to live at boarding school.

The Sponsor Experience

  • Cassie and Elijah

“When we signed up to sponsor our students, we hoped it would help improve their lives. What we didn’t expect was how it would change ours.

Our students have become our teachers about life, gratitude, optimism, and finding joy in each moment. Supporting an education is a direct investment into these students and their future. Through a sponsorship with Moja Tu, you have the opportunity to create a meaningful relationship with a student that will change not only their life, but yours as well.”
