Bain is a resilient and bright student who has recently been selected for Moja Tu sponsorship, paving the way for his journey to high school and the pursuit of his dreams. Currently residing at Dreams Children’s Home, Bain has found a supportive family that easily allows him to share his problems and receive assistance.
Reflecting on his achievement of a strong B score in the primary school exit exams, Bain expressed, “It was through hard work, good behaviors, prayers, and support from my teachers and Dream family.”
Fueled by the excitement of living near an international airport where he sees airplanes taking off and landing, his dream is to become a pilot. Bain firmly believes that education is the key to his success. Being a beneficiary of kindness, he is planning to pay it forward someday by helping other children facing similar circumstances as his.
As he prepares to join secondary school at one of Moja Tu’s partner high schools, Bain pledges to work hard, stay disciplined, and make Moja Tu proud. His biggest supporters have been among his Dream Children’s Home family, but now he is excited to have found a new family in Moja Tu. “I jumped, danced, and rejoiced when I learned about the Moja Tu sponsorship. People probably thought I was out of my mind!” he says, adding that he has witnessed firsthand the impact of sponsorship among those within the children’s home, and his dream to become part of the sponsorship program is now a reality.
Looking ahead, Bain aspires to achieve his goals and return to Dream Children’s Home to make a meaningful impact. “When I achieve my dreams and goals, I want to come back to this place and help my brothers and sisters,” he said, echoing his commitment to giving back to the community that has become his home.
