Kennedy’s Journey: Consistency That Builds Dreams

August 28, 2025

Meet Kennedy, a young and focused individual who recently completed his high school education at Graceland Boys School, where he excelled academically. Now, he is eager to begin the next chapter of his life as he joins a university to pursue his dream career in accounting.

“When I joined Moja Tu, it wasn’t just about excelling in class. I wanted to grow into a well-rounded leader, someone who could inspire others while chasing personal dreams. The experience pushed me out of my comfort zone, taught me how to communicate better, and gave me the courage to face challenges with confidence,” Kennedy reflects.

Looking back, Kennedy’s KCSE journey wasn’t about chasing perfection but about making consistent progress. He studied smart by practicing past papers, managing his time wisely, and surrounding himself with positive influences. This mindset kept him grounded and focused on his goals.

“Moja Tu taught me that true leadership is about service, that proper planning saves time, and that the people you surround yourself with shape your success. These lessons will guide me as I step into the next phase of my academic life,” he adds.

Kennedy is set to join Cooperative University, where he will pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in accounting. Beyond academics, he is excited to join student clubs, participate in impactful initiatives, and apply his knowledge to real-world projects that will prepare him for the future. For him, university is not just about books—it’s about building meaningful experiences.

His dreams go beyond personal success. Kennedy is determined to make a difference by organizing financial literacy workshops for young people and volunteering in community initiatives that address real challenges. For him, education only has true meaning when it empowers others.

To high school students still on their journey, Kennedy’s advice is simple yet powerful: never let the size of your goals intimidate you. Start with small wins, surround yourself with positive influences, and always remember why you started. “Success is built step by step,” he says. “My vision for a better future, combined with the sacrifices my family made for me, kept me motivated even during the toughest moments.”

The belief that carried him through high school is one he still holds dear today: “Small steps every day lead to big results. It reminds me that consistency matters more than speed.”

Looking ahead, Kennedy envisions himself in five years as a certified accountant, handling major projects, running a side business, and mentoring young people who aspire to succeed. With determination and a heart for service, Kennedy is ready to turn his dreams into reality—one step at a time.

Kennedy’s story shows that big dreams are built step by step. He has the drive, vision, and heart to create lasting impact—but he needs support to continue his journey.
