Nickson is a confident and articulate Grade 9 student living at Dreams Children’s Home, one of our partner homes.

As the third-born in his family, Nickson has faced significant challenges. He lost his father in 2022, and his mother now works tirelessly selling vegetables to support the family. Despite these hardships, Nickson remains focused, determined, and committed to his education.

Academically, Nickson is a strong performer, recently ranking 2nd out of 18 students in his class. His favorite subjects are Mathematics and Science, where his curiosity and problem-solving skills stand out.

Beyond the classroom, Nickson is a natural leader. He serves as a class prefect and a Scout commander, demonstrating responsibility and discipline. He also enjoys playing football and reading storybooks, which nurture his love for storytelling.

Nickson dreams of becoming a pilot. He hopes to travel the world, experience new places, and build a career that will allow him to support his family and improve their living conditions.

With the right support, Nickson has the potential to achieve his goals. Sponsoring his education would not only change his life but also uplift a family and nurture a young leader already making an impact.

About this Sponsorship

Sponsoring a secondary student is $1,020 a year, or $85 per month. Co-sponsoring a secondary student is $600 a year, or $50 per month. This amount covers the students’ tuition fees, and buys school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other personal effects required to live at boarding school.
