Sponsor a Student
All of our students are extraordinary and have overcome a lot in their education journey. While we’d like to tell all of their stories, let’s start with some stories selected especially for you.
Meet Miriam, a bright and outgoing young woman whose determination to excel in education has overcome challenging circumstances. While in high school, she was forced to leave home and find solace at Dreams Children’s Home due to the toxic environment at home. Despite these obstacles, she emerged triumphant in her high school exit exam in 2022, securing an impressive B grade.
Now in her second year at Mount Kenya University, Miriam is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in statistics. Her academic prowess continues to shine, demonstrating her commitment to success. Beyond the classroom, Miriam is a multifaceted individual. She is an avid reader, a passionate dancer, and a dedicated sports representative at her university, where her leadership skills shine.
Miriam’s aspirations go beyond personal success; she envisions a future where she can give back to her community. Her sponsor is committed to paying half of her school fees. We are thus looking for a co-sponsor who will join hands with Miriam’s sponsor to ensure she continues with his education. Join us in empowering Miriam to achieve her dreams and create a lasting impact.
About this Sponsorship
Co-sponsoring Miriam’s university education is $1080 a year, or $90 per month. This amount, in addition to what another sponsor will put in, will cover the student’s tuition fees, monthly upkeep, accommodation, and medical care.
The Sponsor Experience
Cassie and Elijah
“When we signed up to sponsor our students, we hoped it would help improve their lives. What we didn’t expect was how it would change ours.
Our students have become our teachers about life, gratitude, optimism, and finding joy in each moment. Supporting an education is a direct investment into these students and their future. Through a sponsorship with Moja Tu, you have the opportunity to create a meaningful relationship with a student that will change not only their life, but yours as well.”
