Lilian’s family faces challenging circumstances, with her disabled mother working as a peanut farmer to make ends meet. However, instead of being disheartened by their situation, Lilian draws her inspiration from these struggles. She witnesses her family’s daily hardships, fueling her determination to work tirelessly toward a brighter future.

Witnessing her older sibling, John Macharia, succeed as a university student thanks to Moja Tu’s sponsorship has ignited a fire within Lilian. She firmly believes that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for herself and her entire family. With unwavering determination, she dreams of attending a boarding school where she can immerse herself fully in her studies and achieve her aspirations.
