Joyce is a confident and determined young woman in her second year pursuing a bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine & community health. Dedicated and hardworking, she continues to excel academically as she works toward her dream of becoming a doctor.

Her journey, however, hasn’t been easy. After her parents’ divorce, Joyce, her mother, and seven siblings moved in with her grandparents. The family relies on a small piece of land for food, while her mother takes on casual labor jobs to provide for them. With nine mouths to feed, meeting even the most basic needs is a daily challenge.

Yet, through it all, Joyce has remained steadfast in her pursuit of education. Her goal is clear — to uplift her family and serve her community through medicine. Her sponsor currently covers half of her tuition, but she needs a co-sponsor to complete her education and keep her dream alive.

About this Sponsorship

Co-sponsoring Joyce’s university education is $1080 a year, or $90 per month. This amount, in addition to what another sponsor will put in, will cover the student’s tuition fees, monthly upkeep, accommodation, and medical care.
