Getrude is a confident, outgoing, and determined young woman whose life story is a testament to resilience and leadership. As the firstborn of four children, she faced unimaginable challenges at a tender age. When both her parents passed away, Gertrude was barely five years old—but she understood the assignment. Her younger siblings looked up to her for guidance, and she rose to the occasion, offering love, care, and direction far beyond her years.

After this loss, Getrude was taken to Dreams Children Home, where she received the care and stability she needed to grow. She recently completed high school and has earned an opportunity to join university, opening the door to a future full of promise.

Getrude’s sponsor has committed to supporting her journey, and she is now seeking a co-sponsor to join hands in helping her realize her dreams. With your support, Getrude will not only achieve her educational goals but also create a ripple effect of hope and opportunity for her younger siblings, shaping their lives and inspiring her entire community.

About this Sponsorship

Co-sponsoring Getrude’s university education is $1080 a year, or $90 per month. This amount, in addition to what another sponsor will put in, will cover the student’s tuition fees, monthly upkeep, accommodation, and medical care.
