Lawrence is a self-assured, articulate, and determined individual. It was no surprise to anyone when Lawrence scored 410 marks in his KCPE. Throughout his primary education, he has been a top performer. His best subject is Mathematics and he scored 85% in the KCPE.
He hopes to join a national school to complete his secondary school studies and later on proceed to pursue his dream career of being a pilot. Lawrence would like to reduce air accident as he believes that some of the accidents are avoidable. He is concerned, though, that he may have to forego his spot at the top institution due to a lack of finances.
He hails from a single-parent home, and his mother is unable to pay their school fees because she does not have a steady work. The church sponsors one of his older siblings. Lawrence, who enjoys math and English, aspires to be a pilot and hopes to receive a scholarship that will allow him to continue his education without interruption.
Sponsoring a secondary student is $1,020 a year, or $85 per month. This amount covers the students' tuition fees, and buys school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and other personal effects required to live at boarding school.
