Meet David

David and his two sisters have lived at Dreams Children home for the past 8 years. They were orphaned at a young age and then moved from one relative to another until before the government intervened and placed them at the children’s home. In this stable home, David was able to attend secondary school and attain a high B average, which earned him an invitation to join Kenyatta University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science.
In school, David excelled in both academic and leadership roles. He was chosen to be his school’s academic prefect due to his good academic standing. He also had a passion for mathematics. At the children’s home, he has continually shown great leadership skills. He loves organizing the primary students into football teams and playing with them, as well as helping them review their math material in the evenings after school.
David enjoys listening to music, dancing, and reading novels. He works very hard and goes out of his way to help others. He is an upstanding young man with a great future ahead of him, now that he has a chance to continue his higher education.
