Meet Carol

Fourteen-year-old Carol is well known in her community as a confident leader, both in school and at home. She was elected deputy president of her school government by her peers, and is set to sit for her National examinations this November. Based on her current academic standing, we anticipate that she will earn a spot at a top secondary school.

As a strong advocate for girls’ education, Carol has started a community group in which girls are taught valuable life skills. Her church aids her by inviting mentors in the community to help the girls learn and hone these skills.

It’s this combination of initiative, leadership, and a good academic performance that has convinced her school’s administration to keep Carol in school without paying the necessary fees, which her parents cannot afford. Girls like Carol can change the world! Help support her future by sponsoring her education today!
